Bethel Manor Elementary school houses students K-5 in the York County Public Schools District in the Hampton area. It currently has 552 students enrolled giving it a 19:1 teacher to student ratio. It’s test scores from the State of Virginia’s standardized testing rate very high. Every subject Bethel Manor was tested in exceded the state average. Several grades posted scores passing 97, 98, and even 100% of their students, math being their obvious strength across the grades.
One highlight to Bethel is there before and after school care. Titled “Champions Extended Learning”, It gives children an opportunity for a safe, enriching environment where they can participate in sports, complete homework with the aid of a teacher, make arts and crafts, or be involved a variety of other activities. A great option for families where both parents are employed.
